Refunds & Cancellations
Donation Refund Principles
Youth Everest Foundation adheres to a transparent, ethical donation refund policy. As a registered non-profit charitable entity, voluntary donations received are promptly channeled into ongoing community welfare and emergency disaster relief projects. Therefore, donations are generally non-refundable once processed. However, we acknowledge that unforeseen technical errors, duplicate deductions, or banking glitches can occasionally occur.
Eligible Circumstances for Refund
Refund requests will be entertained strictly in instances of demonstrated technical failure, such as: (a) accidental duplicate transactions where an intended single donation was charged more than once, (b) verified payment gateway transmission errors, or (c) unauthorized account misuse reported with valid banking proof. All refund claims must be formally lodged within seven (7) business days of the transaction timestamp.
Refund Application & Verification Process
To submit a refund request, please email our finance team at info@yef.org.in or contact us at +91 8532916143. Your email must include your full name, mobile number, Transaction ID, Payment Gateway Reference Number, date and exact amount of contribution, and a bank statement excerpt verifying the deduction. Our accounts team will review and resolve eligible claims within 7 to 10 working days.
Statutory 80G Tax Exemption Considerations
In accordance with Indian tax regulations, if a formal 80G tax exemption receipt has already been generated and reported in our statutory tax returns for a donation, that contribution becomes legally non-refundable. If an authorized refund is approved prior to statutory filing, any previously generated electronic receipt is canceled and rendered null and void.
